Shri K Ranganath has assumed charge as the new Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Kudremukh Iron Ore company Limited (KIOCL) at its Corporate Office in Bangalore on May 23, 2008. Prior to this appointment Shri Ranganath was Director (Marketing) of the Public Sector giant Coal India Limited at Kolkata.

Fifty six year old Shri Ranganath hails from Karnatka. A Bachelor of Commerce and Law graduate from Bangalore University and he is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.
