KIOCL is a 100% Export Oriented Unit ( EOU) and a Government of India Enterprise engaged in the manufacturing of Blast Furnace grade iron ore pellets. KIOCL has its pellet plant at Mangalore adjacent to the port on western coast of India.
KIOCL sells pellets in both overseas and domestic markets among empanelled customers on FOB New Mangalore basis.
KIOCL has a captive berth with mechanized loading facilities. The berth details are as under
