KIOCL donates custom built vehicle to Akshaya Patra Foundation
KIOCL Limited, a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and a responsible corporate citizen, has donated a custom built vehicle to Akshaya Patra Foundation under the auspice of (International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), for distribution of clean and hygienic mid day meal to the children studying in various schools in and around Bangalore and suburban areas under Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. Shri.K.Ranganath, Chairman Cum Managing Director, KIOCL Limited handed over the Keys of the vehicle to Executive Director of Akshaya Patra Foundation, shri. Sridhar Venkat at a simple ceremony held at ISKCON temple premises July 22. Maj.Gen.(Dr) Om Prakash Soni, Director (Commercial), Shri.S. Rajendra, General Manager (Personnel) and other officers of KIOCL were present. Similar vehicle was donated to Mangalore branch of Akshaya Patra few weeks back.
