ISO ACCREDITION FOR KIOCL

KIOCL Ltd (KIOCL), Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel and a Mini Rathna Company is the producer of high quality pellets.  KIOCL’s sister concern Kudremukh Iron and Steel Company (KISCO) is the producer of Pig Iron and with effective from 01.04.2007 has been merged with KIOCL as Blast Furnace Unit.  Hence the scope of ISO Standard is now amended and incorporated in ISO certificates as the Port Facilities (Pellet Plant & Filter Plant) and Blast Furnace Unit.

With the above scope, the Accrediting Agency M/s DNV Certification B.V., Netherlands, re certified ISO 9001:2000 in conformity of Management System Standard, valid till 2011, ISO 14001:2004 for the Environment Management System Standard, valid till 2009 and the OHSAS 18001:1999 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard valid till 2009.
